Dating On Gaia

Does your boyfriend/girlfriend have a GaiaOnline account as well? I know some people who only exclusively date over GaiaOnline, but I think that's a little bit silly.
My boyfriend does have an account, but it's only because I poked at him until he got one. We're using the accounts to watch movies together at the Gaia Cinemas. We'll probably be watching the Matrix tonight.
Honestly, I think it's a good idea for your Significant Other to have a GaiaOnline account just for the fact that it's a way for the two of you to communicate when you're not near one another or can't get on the phone. Plus, as I mentioned before, he and I can watch movies together while we're at our own houses, which is always a plus. Plus, I don't own the Matrix, so when I watch it on Gaia, I get to watch it with him as well.
Also, on that topic, what's *too much* on Gaia for dating? I've seen entire topics taken over by two people claiming to love one another post after post, and that gets to be a bit annoying. I think a little bit is alright, but sometimes people go overboard with it.

I don't think it is a huge deal to have your significant other on Gaia. If you want to chat, there are plenty of instant messanger programs which one can use. Gaia can be useful for the movie watching that you mentioned but that doesn't work for me since I don't have a fast enough internet connection to stream an entire movie trailor like that, let alone an entire movie. As for meeting people there, no problem. Just maybe keep the lovey dovey stuff out of the forums where they would annoy people and rather communitcate with private messages and profile comments.
