Bonfires

Do you go to bonfires? What kinds of activities take place there? Do you do them yourselves? Are they usually at a friends house or on the beach? I went to one last night out on the beach, it was a pretty nice and relaxing setting. It could have been nice and romantic if my s/o wasn't so drunk and annoying...

Sure bonfires are great.I have them at my place or where ever. I also built a sweat lodge near the pit. I only wish winter wasn't so long so I could enjoy it more. We play instruments around the fire.(Drum, guitar, sing ,dance it's all good.

Spring summer and fall are the big times that we have bonfires. And sometimes we do have them everynight. I love bonfires. We have alot of different atmospheres when it comes to having a bonfire. We do have them on beaches as well as just sitting around with some close friends family etc and just having some fun. We even have them in the winter time. Not like the other seasons but winter is good for bonfires as well.

I only go to bonfires on bonfire nite (im in the uk) we dont really have bonfires at any other time of year here unless some scallywag has set the local school alight or is burning out a stolen car lol.

Back in high school, a few years ago, we had weekend bonfires at our local town sand pit. It was out away from everything and everyone so we could just have fun. One night one of our group members found an old abandoned car and decided to get a group of guys to help him put it in the big bonfire we had going. Unfortunately there was still gas in the fuel tank and the darn thing exploded! We had cops and the fire department and all kinds of people around then. Needless to say that was the end of that night's party.
