i am currently living abroad and last summer when i went back home to see my family everything seem fo be ok until one day i argued with my mother over a stupid thing ( but she turned it into a big drama )and i told her do not talk to me anymore ( well i was angry , i couldnt believe that after spending 8 hours on a plane and after a year without seeing me she would pick a fight with me ). I havent spoke to her since then ( neither did she )we havent called each other for christmas or other holidays. i'd love to call her but then i think why should i be the one who calls?what would you do?

I would call my mom if I was in your shoes. because believe me there is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I could just pick up the phone and call my mom and we had had alot of fights. But sadly I can't pick up the phone and call because my mom is no longer here she passed away four years ago. So please call your mom.

Yes, i will forgive. It is very sad beeing on bad terms with your family members, especialy with your mother. I was in your situation, it was a period when my mother refused to talk with me even if i tried to make her to understand me. I leaved out my pride and i implored her to repair our relation. In the end she understand me, i understand her and thing between us are going well.
