when i was a young girl, i dreamt of traveling around the world, i regard it my key dream--the most important one, nevertherless i am rich or poor, successful or frustrated. as i know, most of my friends held the same dream as me when we are all kids, but till now, most of them have discard the original thought, the focus all their mind on the daily life, they have forgotten what they had promised themselves. and how about you ,do you still want to travel the world?

When I was a child I held my globe and dreamed about traveling around the world. When I was 14 I saved up enough money from my paper round to go on holiday to Greece with my mum. When I was 17 I went to the Netherlands with a friend. At age 18 I worked as a children's nanny in Finland and then traveled around Europe. When I got back I got an office job and saved up to go around the world. I bought a round the world air ticket and got a working holiday visa for Australia. Then I flew off to the USA, Fiji, Australia and Singapore. I did a side trip to Indonesia and Malaysia. I was away for just over a year on that wonderful trip.
Since my trip around the world I have been on another long trip to New Zealand stopping off in French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. I have been back to Australia and stopped off in Hong Kong and been to Singapore again. I have been on a safari in Kenya. I have been to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Some people say they will go around the world when they retire but that is a long time to wait. I think it is best to do it in your teens or twenties. It can be done later but often family commitments or a career tie people down. By retirement poor health might prevent some activities. Yes, many people focus most of all on their daily life.

I too have wanted to travel the world. I have been several places, many of which I would love to visit again. My first husband was im the Armyn and we were stationed in Germany. I think spending so much time there really helped me learn about Germany. I visited Mexico city for a month and that was time enough to see a few places but not enough to learn about the people. I love seeing other places but I think I like learning about the people too. I wonder how I could have learned so little about the people when I was around them everyday. Maybe I was too busy site seeing. What has been your favorite place to site see?

Yes, in fact I have plans to write a bookon how to travel the world as person with a disability on a budget. I just need to find the right publisher! I love and always will love travel even with all the difficulties associated with my disabilities.

I love to travel. Love to see other people's country, their culture…and be able to go sightseeing and visit places in other countries, experience the change of weather…traveling lets me relax, to release stress and enjoy being at another different place other than my home country. i would love to be able to travel the world someday! wish i had the money and time to do so, but hopefully one fine day i'll be able to do so ;)
