I think the price of gas is out of our range. For people to have to work at second job just to buy gas realy makes me mad. I know I have to do just that. Work a full time job, and at a part time job. just to make ends meat. If we had a fully electric car we would not have to buy gas. What do you think.

gas should not be priced that high if not for those greedy people behind it...if we continue to rely on gasoline and oil,we all end up one of the poorest of poor and those who invest in oils and gasoline will be more richer that because thew are is no alternative way to use for our vehicles and factories and power plants...but if there is an alternative and much cheaper source we can get then im sure they will lower their oil price for the competition but i dont think it will materialize because new technology is being hacked by oil men and stop all those threat for their oil products because they dont want to lose money...

Gas is ridiculous. For example. Here in Los Angeles, I am finding it for around 3.65 a gallon. I was so excited to find that near my grandfathers (about 60 miles away) it is 3.42 a gallon, so of course, I filled up while I was down there today. Ugh. The cost is absolutely ridiculous.

I know what you mean. I live in a small town, and there is no jobs here. So most people have to drive anywhere from 40 to 60 miles just have a job. So anytime I can find gas for just a few cents lower I always stop and get gas. Thanks for your responce.

I am feeling the pressure of the high gas prices. I just got a new job in January and got started in February and will have to quit in March because I have to drive between five stores in three cities for less than $9.00 an hour. I can make as much profit on line and I won't have to travel anywhere. I worked very hard to get this job and feel torn about giving it up so soon but I know I cannot afford to gas up twice a week for near $50 a tank for just $50+ profit. That means I'm spending nearly $100 to earn $50, do the math, it isn't adding up. My dream of working on line may be coming sooner than I thought. Yes, I suppose you can say that the price of gas has effected me negatively regarding my income but I do expect things to get better.

I fully agree. I feel terribly sorry for people who depend on driving and filling up their tank to do their job around town. I'm also astonished that it takes well over $40 to fill up my tiny car from time to time.
My brother recently bought a hybrid since gas is more expensive in Cincinnati. I think hybrids are a marvelous idea, but the "Average Joe" can't always afford a new car- let alone a hybrid!
