How long have you known your best friend for?

I met my best friend about five years ago. I was having a horrible day, so one of my friends said, "Here, this guy will give you a hug. He gives the best hugs." He gave me a brilliant hug, and he's still my best friend after five years. He's so supportive, and that has got to be my favorite thing about him -that, and he's a laugh.

I've known my best friend for about 3 years. We met when we were paired up for a debate. My favourite thing about him is that he's always so energetic.

I have known my best friend for only about 2 years now. I met them while on vacation in Arizona (I'm from Chicago). They actually moved out here and we have been best friends since. I really enjoy their company and we have a lot of the same interests. My friend is special to me because they are someone I can rely on. They have always been there for me when I needed a friend the most. I love their sense of humor and how comfortable I feel when we are together. I can be myself! That is the best part about a friendship. No secrets and no drama! Well, ok there is still SOME drama but we work it out in the end. THIS is why they are my best friend. :)

My bestfriend is three years younger than me. We'd been nineteen years being neighbors and ten years being best of friends. Actually, i knew first her older sister and been closed for two years before her. We were a member of the same youth organization of our community and it founded at our church. The body elected me as there vice president and she was also elected as our group secretary. So, thats the start of our getting along to each other. Her older sister felt jealous at the time coz i am more often to go with her sister than to her. But you know its hard for me to go along with my bestfriend older sister coz im the only one who made an adjustment. And seems i can't decide of my own. Compare to my bestfriend i can be straight forward to her, i can show of what i am and she adjust and accept me. Same as what i do for her without any explaining about it. You know what we called a mutual understanding. The magic of friendship. The connections that we felt to each other. But it doesnt mean i hate her older sister or what we called her "ate". I didn't hated her. And we are still friends until now. But the difference is i can't consider her as my bestfriend. There was a time i gave my bestfriend a textmate. A guy who i busted. They seated for a blind date. They saw each other but my bestfriend didnt like him as well as the guy. So the guy continued his intention with me. And without my bestfriend idea that i accepted the guy proposal. So, i felt guilt knowing that she started to like the guy. I decided to told her about the fact that the guy is already my boyfriend. She never talked to me for one week. And i knew its my fault and i didn't mean it. I felt heartbroken coz i thought i loss my bestfriend. After one week that she didn't talked to me and one week that i courted her to fix the problem. She called me and asked forgiveness and invited me for a dinner together with her family. And During that dinner i also asked forgiveness and told her that i can't replace a friend like her compared to the guy who just came into our life. The guy and i broke up one year now. hahaha. But my bestfriend is still here with me and no breaking up.

i know my best friend for 9 yrs,we meet in honkong,,and we became neighbors here in korea, we have something in common thats why we are really like each other.

I have a best friend ,we know each other for many years.Because he and me are primary school classmate.we have known each other since then.we are tacit friend,we know each other so well that he can understand me just by my movement or gesture.that is very cool to others.

Oh my, It depends which best friend I talk about. My husband is my best friend which I have been with him for 5 years. Then my sister is my best friend which I have known my whole life. And my bestfriend Diane, we have known each other for 40 years. We are the same age, we met when we was 4 years old. I was playing out side when her family was moving in next door to me and she was looking out her door,As shy as I was I went and asked her if she wanted to come out and play, we have been best friends ever since. Grown up we have been so close if you seen one of us you knew the other wasn't far behind. To this day even with our own families we can count on each other. Depends on which best friend I talk about!! My sister is one of my best friends, and we've known each other my whole life!! I think perhaps we're such good friends because we're so close in age, less than 2 years apart, its always been easy to relate to one another. I think we also get along so well because we are both so different. My other best friend, we met at a football match. We were both fans of the same team, were sitting near each other, and before long we were doing everything together. We've known each other for probably 10 years now, she's my daughters godmother, and someone I know I can always turn to, no matter what. I think my favourite thing about her is that even though we live on separate sides of the country, we know we're always there for each other, not matter. If she ever needed me (or vice cersa) I'd be on the next plane over, no questions asked.

I met my best friend about 14 years ago, sweetestkate, and we have grown close over the years. She moved into the apartment next door to mine. At first I tried to rebuff her gestures of friendship because she was younger than I was, but she was persistent. We have been through a lot together but our friendship is not what it once was. She became involved with a man about a year ago who is bad news for her but I don't interfere. I know that he does not particularly care for me, but it's OK because the feeling is mutual. I only want what's best for her -and it's not him.

we've known each other for about 15 or more years. we were classmates at middle school. it's hard to tell what or why this friend is special, we just have a good time together and the friendship lasts.

my best friend and I have known each other for 8 years,from we became high school classmates. we live in a room for 3 years and live together day and night,she is a soft and friendly girl ,and she always take care of me like a sister. through these years ,we had become a part of life of each other,now ,we don't live in a city,but we usually make a call or chat in the internet.

since elementary in grade1V she is my classmate,she is my especial friend for me...my favorite thing about them,she is understanding,caring,loving as my bestfriend...

I've know my best friend for at least 7 years, maybe more, but I dunno. I'm still his best friend, and we still have loads of fun.
