I was born and raised in a small town about two hours from Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. I moved to Manila after I graduated from high school. Since then, I seldom visit my town. When I got married, we went back to my hometown and stayed there for a couple of years. Because of the needs of my growing daughter, we decided to move to a city near our town. My mother still lives in our house in my hometown. We visit her once every month or if she has time, she visits us in our new house.

It's good that you get a chance to go back to your hometown. I hardly gt a chance anymore. Plus my parents have also moved to the city. SO Id on't go back very often.

I was born in Taiping and I stay until form 5. In 1996, I went to continue my tertiary study in Malaysian University of Technology in Skudai, Johore Bahru. I graduated in 2000 and went to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Until today . I am still not sure if I will settle myself down in Penang, but I find a pleasant place to live. I have bought an apartment here but it's for investment purpose. My parents are still staying in Taiping and I usually went back once a month or every two months.

I lived in my town from age of 4 now i'm 27.....
But my home towm is about 200km away and still my grand parents are there.....
Usually i'll go there twice a year to see them and its a great relief for me to get away from the busy working enviornment.
Love to spend a week there...... its a good stress releiver.......

Home town??? What's that??? I moved so much growing up I don't know what I should consider my home town. I was born in California, grew up in Alaska, went back and forth between the two for several years, went to college in Oregon, back to California, several years in North Carolina, less than a year in Missouri (middle of high school) and now in China. I consider wherever I am right now to be my home town. Unfortunately, I lost my parents over 10 years ago. They were always on the move, especially after my dad retired in 1985.

No, my hometown is back in Ukraine, and is a 12 hour flight away from here(California). My parents live here in California. I haven't been in my hometown for nine years.
