Pinoy Anime fans out there!

I can't exactly remember but I think I have gone into two anime events. It was really a blast, well, for an anime fan like me. it was like heaven especially when the bands were playing our favorite anime soundtracks. and I remember one band played one of Sailormoon's ending songs! I can also remember that I had with me my anime song lyrics book then but it was kinda dark and so we couldn't sing along. ^__^;; that's when I also bought a sailormoon soundtrack cd which was on sale then. I think there was an entrance fee because I still have my ticket. I haven't participated in any anime-themed contest too. but it sure would be fun to join the karaoke or cosplay. ^__^ so are you going to Otakuzine?

If I was really able to, I'd be joining cosplays as well as that kareoke activity you mentioned. So, that days are both on week ends.. who knows.. I would surely like to go but, you never know when such things just come up and make you cancel things that you really look forward to

you can always reserve that dates ahead of your schedule right? but i understand you. even if i'm saying i would go there, i'm not dismissing the possibility that something more important might come up and i might not be able to attend to the event that would definitely make me truly happy.

hi yamikiba-chan! I would tag along with you if I live at Los Angeles. the school uniforms in many animes really look cool. I wish our uniform back in highschool or gradeschool were as cool as those. I would have liked the school uniform in the anime Clannad or Lovely Complex.

hey drknlvly! I'm sure they hold anime events in the US because I see pictures of cosplayers in the internet. I just forgot which state was it and the name of the event. your brother is a hairstylist? nice. I wouldn't know what to do with my hair and i'll probably rent a wig if ever I would cosplay sailormoon. i'd like to join the karaoke too but not the contest. I know I wouldn't stand a chance because I don't really have a singing voice.

"yume no naka nara ieru..." ^__^ its really frustrating if you're living in a place far from the usual venue of great events like that. I live in the province and anime conventions are always in the city (of course) and I would have to travel for at least two hours just to attend it. but now, I am working here in the city and going to such event should be easier for me. all that's stopping me is being lazy and wanting to have a weekend rest. I wish I have a hairstylist brother or sister or just a relative too who I can request to do my hair because I'm not really good at fixing my hair. the easiest hairstyle for me would be that of sailor neptune's because my hair is wavy too and I would just color it green. LOL

That is so cool, your hair that is. After I posted yesterday I watched some of Sailor Stars, and it reminded me of Sailor Pluto's hair. I love the color green, and her hair is so long and thick I just love it. I want to dress up as one of the Sailor Scouts for Halloween, and now I am torn between Pluto and Moon. There so many things I could do with Sailor Moon's hair, yet I could just go with Pluto's basic style and be happy. Arrgh, decisions decisions lol.

hi jamiichan! i guess i'm gonna be there! but i'm still 75-25 on it. 75% sure! at least it increased from 50%. i posted this discussion hoping to meet other anime fans here at myLot. but so far, only and ratyz are the pinoys who responded here. tsk tsk tsk. and ratyz is not coming i think. so its see you when i see you to you too! but it would really be fun if we would make it as a venue for an eyeball! ^__^ let's find each other there okay?? ^__~

hi drannhh! the possibility for me of going there is increasing actually. but I still haven't decided. and I'm choosing between those two days because I can't go on both days. I'm also sure it would definitely be fun because I just love anime.

I'm sure it would be fun! I have attended an anime convention years before with my friends and fellow otaku. that was one of my memorable experience. I really had an amazing time. I have already decided to go on saturday but my officemates scheduled an outing to Hundred Islands on Saturday too and I don't want to miss it because I haven't been there. :p I'm still thinking about going on the Sunday event. ne, I'm happy to meet you yuusuki-kun! I'm always happy to meet fellow anime fans. I hope someday I would meet all the anime fans here at myLot.
