I was shocked at Good Luck Chuck

I rented the movie thinking it would be funny and did I get a shock. Now I am not a prude and I can understand that the movie industry feels they need to have nude scenes for ratings but oh my gosh I about died when I was watching it and suddenly there was 15 minutes of non stop bedroom scenes with different women. (It might not have been a whole 15 minutes it just seemed like it to me) After I got done with the movie I thought you know they really didn't need that in there. The movie as a whole would have been funny without it. It isn't one I would ever rent again as I wouldn't want my children walking through during it. I just think that it was over kill and wish they didn't feel that we had to have that in movies to enjoy them. What are your thoughts?

I have not seen this one. It was, WAS, on my list, but I'm not interested in a movie that feels as though they have to have those kinds of scenes in them. I would caution that The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller had the same sort of scenes in it that I was unaware of before renting it. So, from the sounds of it, that movie may be just as offensive. Maybe someone who has seen both could make a comparison of the two.

The 'heart break kid' was a really funny movie. The scenes in it were short and not as long as in 'good luck chuk'. I was not expecting the scenes in 'The heart break kid' but they were not as totally unnecessary as in Good luck chuck'. By the way the movie was entirely predictable and i guess you would do better to watch other Dane cook movies.

i think the same way i feel it is not necessary to do such thing coz i have always like adam sandler and this is not my favorite of his movie.
most of what i see in that movie is not what i expect and it is just sad.
oh well., i think the movie industry now is hurting and i feel we need a better writer now who can give a much better story and not just something that is very predictable or non sense.
good points.
