manicured? You know spend some buck at a nail salon, do the french manicure, Or do you just grab a fingernail clippers and give yourself a trim. I used to do the salon thing, but here lately with my daughter, and money tight, its the clippers for me.

I'm awful with my nails. I used to get them done, but stopped doing that about a year ago. They'd probably grow quite nicely if I took the time to do anything with them, even on my own, but it seems like just when I get them to the length I want them, they break off.

I've thought recently about getting them done. Especially now that I am working again and I see all the other girls with their nails done. Thanks for the br.

I usually do my own but I much prefer to get them done at the salon. I keep saying I am going back to that. For a regular manicure w/color it is only $10 here. They make all their money on the folks that need fake nails.

I have gotten my nails done twice. It was about 10 years ago though. Since then I have just done it myself with the clippers. It is a waste of money for me. Some people get into it, but not me. I only went and got it done because I went with a friend of mine.

I've never, not once had my nails done by a professional. I've done my own nails since I was 13, I can pretty much do the manuicure myself. I mean why waste time and money at a salon when you can do it at home? I've read horror stories about some women who have gone to salons come out with infections from the chemicals used at that salon. This is why I'll never go to one.
