My baby son has got carrot stains on his clothing. I don't have a very strong washing powder. I like to use natural products most of all. Have you any idea how to get rid of carrot stains on clothing? Do your children get their clothes stained and if so are these easy to remove? Thanks

Stains are difficult to remove using natural products. By this I presume you mean the environmentally friendly washing powders or liquids. Mostly they dont remove stains. All I can suggest is that you use a dab of pure eucalyptus oil. Not the washing liquids made out of ecalyptus, as they are useless. But apparently the pure essence of euclytpus is quite effective for stains. Put a little on a cotton ball & dab the stain.

As someone on the radio once said about ironing baby clothes; why bother? Cider vinegar is pretty good for a lot of stains. Use it cold, dab a fair amount on the stain and let it sit for a few hours before washing. Try this site for other ideas; http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf105354.tip.html The hairspray tip sounds interesting.
