Wow a new laptop!! Thats cool sissie. I got my laptop in December and it too has vista. Don't worry you will get used to it after a while. Im lucky because i finally found a man who actually treats me like I should be treated. I am in Georgia now and we are together. He is wonderful to me.

What a wonderful hubby you have and quite right too, you are more than worth it sis ;0) I guess I could call him my brother in law! I have felt very very lucky, a guy over the weekend I met had just lost his mum about 3 weeks ago, he was very rich too and was pretty boastful about it too, I didn't like the guy and took an instant dislike to him however it got me thinking, yeah ok he's got £400,000 coming to him but he hasn't got his mum. No amount of mum can make up for the loss of my mum. I went out and bought mum a big present to appreciate her, just seeing her face when I returned today was priceless. I am lucky to have such a wonderful mum xxxx (and sister too!)

I am so happy to hear things are going well for you. Your husband seems like a real nice guy. BTW I have had my Vista computer since last August and it took me a few months to get really used to it. I had to use the help program quite a few times!!

WOW mummymo family time and a NEW LAPTOP? I would be in heaven right about now. What a lovely surprise and loving husband and family you have there mummymo. :):) I know what you mean by using Vista though, I didn't like it and had my hubby reimage our laptop and put Windows XP on it - I'm glad that he did :):) As for me, I'm lucky to have all of you in mylot that make me smile each day when I'm feeling a bit down or sick and or just feeling sorry for myself kinda days. Greeting and getting to know you off line has made me and mine feel lucky mummymo. You have no idea what joy your caring and concern has brought to my life lately. It was such a surprise and so wonderful to discover that people have such strong feelings about people they barely know. Thank goodness for Angels like our gabs for bringing us together.

I've had some financial issues hanging over my head and lately one was resolved in my favour. I'm not out of the woods yet but just that small easing of worry and fear is a good feeling.

A New ComputerHOORAY!!!!! I'd love a laptop but for now our PC is great...We have bigger priorities!As for feeling lucky lately I am so glad now that I have been home even though it was for only two days...I had not been home since Christmas and so it was well over due.... Also, my sons vocabulary and sentence structure has really improved as of late and for that I am soooooo thrilled thanks to fish oil! Yes, we are working through a lot here but I always try to find something to be thankful for within the difficulties! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us here and I have enjoyed catching up with you this way today...Sorry for not E-Mailing but as you know, it has been a rough week but I want you to know that we are getting through the loss of my cousins little ones...I'll let you know when I hear from my cousin but I am able to sleep at nights now which is good for me! Yes you are a little lucky ducky! I shall have to tell you a story about a material possession I am afraid because nothing else has happened to make me feel lucky lately. I went shopping today and my handbag is huge, now my daughter has recently started walking everywhere instead of going in her pushchair and so my bag as lovely as it is, is hard to carry plus hold my daughters hand. So I have been after a new one, and I went in a shop today and got a fantastic over the body bag, just big enough for what I want for 99p!! I was really chuft, Oh and I got some urban decay lippy that is normally about £10 for £1.99 so today I feel that I had a lucky day!!

You will soon get used to Vista. I was wary at first but now it's fine. My monitor broke a couple of weeks ago and my onderful wife took the money she had been saving for a new suit for me for my birthday and bought a 9" TFT monitor with built in stereo speakers. I may be raggy-assed in the sartorial department but my monitor is great!
