Temptations will always be there. Let God defeat it for you. Remember, it is the Lord's battle not outrs. Also, think of youself as not just an ordinary single woman. You're a princess worth waiting for. God has someone for you, all you have to do is to be in tuned to Him. I was also at your point before. But thank God for the guidance. I followed His will and I'm able to meet the one He prepared for me.

You are absolutely correct. Be sure to turn to other Christians for support. Read your Bible and talk to God. Stay strong in your faith.

Hi Kpride7949 !! I can well understand what you mean. I know sometimes it seems like there is nothing else we can do except go for the temptation. But it doesn't have to be that way cause all you've got to do is surrender everything to HIS will. His word is very clear: " No temptation has seized u except what is common to man. And God is faithful; HE will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1Corinthians 10:13(NIV)

I can surly relate. I am in a wonderful relationship. But I have only been here for 6 months. I have been a christian for almost 40 years. I have been divorced 2 times. I have not always acted like I know Christ wanted me to. Just remember, we are human. We sin. Never, no matter how bad you think you have behaved, never think you are not worth forgiveness. Pray. ask for God to give you strength. And know, when you feel weak, it is only because you are not useing or utilizing the strength that was given to you. God bless.

it is not just about being holy it is about being loyal to yourself and get saved from the fire of hell. One has to be enough faithful to herself or himself. we have ordered certain things not to do before the time comes. yeah if your temptation is something related to arousal then you should get married and you can get your temptation stopped. ALL the religion teachings teach the same but they way of understanding is different in different people so it is best to do the things which you think is correct then being influenced by someone. After all it is only you who are going to be paid for your deeds no one else. the thing is we have to be in a habit of being good with one and another. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!

Hello kpride. Welcome to mylot. As a christian myself I do understand what you are saying. Bieng young and a christtian is by itself a challenge which gets even more pressuring when you are single. I have learnt to appreciate being a young christian as I am saved from doing certain things which I would regret even if I was not a christian. There is much to be gained from being young and a christian. Keep holding on and God Bless. (lol)

I am also single and a Christian , I can truly understand your feelings. But the important thing is to cling on to your faith. We are not perfect , we make mistakes and the lessons from those mistakes should be our weapon in avoiding them in the future.

Don't do anything beyond your comfort zone. If you want to live your life as a Christian, that is your choice and you shouldn't feel pressured by others. Good luck.
