My man uses a spray he got from a specialist. it helps. he also have a kind of bandage that will open up the nose Loosing weight is the best way to go. Do you snore no matter how you sleep? Some people find it helps to fasten a ball on you back so you will not sleep on your back

Then maybe you should go to a sleep clinic. You might get breathing stops too if you snore a lot. My man did - that's when he got the spray. they considered operation too, but then he lost some weight so he does not have to have one yet. And he is really not that overweight either. Hope you find a good way for you

Have you ever tried taking a sinus pill before you go to bed so that your nasal passages are not blocked? I do that when I am going to sleep near someone like when my sisters and I go away for the weekend. It seems like it helps.

i remember some old beliefs here in the philippines where they are saying, if you want to stop snoring, you will have to chew on pigtails. i dunno if this is just a legend of some sort.. i sure want to be helpful to you.. this is no joke at all. anyway.. you might also want to seek medical help because snoring is something that is caused by an irregularity in your body - might be a sign or a sympton of something... better go have medical opinions...

What I do to my husband who snores a lot is to avoid letting him sleep with his back flat on the bed. It helps when he sleeps on his side. Also, don't sleep when your stomach is so full.

There is this guy chris who on day was explaining to his wife that snoring had to do with blocking the air in the throat. Which causes the snoring. His wife looked at him and said I teach my students to open there air passages to sing better. She was a classical singer at one point in her life. If you are going to sing well, everything in and around the breathing passage has to be open and strong. source http://www.homeremediesforsnoring.stopsnoringeasily.com

There are exercises that are especially made for people who snore. They tone up the muscles in the throat. It might not seem like it makes sense but it's a fact that professional singers seldom ever snore. (Because their throat muscles are in good shape.) http://www.homeremediesforsnoring.org

I think the moisturizing spray might help the most. The snoring could be from dry mucous membranes in your throat and the back of your nose swelling and rubbing against each other. If nothing over the counter works, consider seeing an ENT (ear nose and throat specialist) for a more in depth evaluation of why you are snoring. The snoring can also cause you not to get a good nights sleep because it could disrupt your breathing too.

Do physical exercises. At least some walking.
