What type of everyday dinnerware do you use at your meals? Do you use melmac, plastic, paper, styrofoam, china, stoneware, glass, wood, ceramic, porcelain? our everyday dinnerware is Corelle our pattern is the Crazy Daisy (green daisies sprinkling about the border of white plates and bowls) I think the pattern is from the 70s, so these have held up remarkably well... though with cement floors when they do decide to break the shards are everywhere.

Most of our dinnerware is made of china. I think it's nice because it's easy to clean them. Although it can be broken, but being careful can avoid it. Easy to clean is important for me.

you are right about china being easy to clean - I like that about it too - the corelle ware is also easy to clean - it must be the slick surface? it is also thin like china so it stores in a minimal amount of space.

My sister and I used to use this oriental market to get our produce... they had fabulous produce at fabulous prices, then one day we found a box of dishes there that were a blue design... hehehe, all these years I've been using them I still don't know what the design is, but I really love the size of them! That's why I have kept them so long, and continue to use them. They are not as big as most dinner plates, which works well for me because I cannot have a plate that doesn't have food covering every part of it. But ultimately what I'd like to eat on are pottery plates that I make. I love making pottery. Not that I have done it in years, and I would need a kiln. I would paint carrots and stuff on them I think. Or lilacs. I don't know why I love dishes with lilacs on them but I do. Plus when you break a pottery dish that you have made yourself, you can easily make a replacement for it!

It kind of depends on what we are eating. If it's a meal like dinner or something we usually use stoneware. If it's just sloppy joes or pizza or tacos we just use paper plates.

I have a nice set of China. It is a place setting for 8. I do enjoy using this set whenever I get a chance.

Our everyday dinnerware is a stoneware set. It is a colorful striped pattern. Sort of mexican looking. Corelle is nice but I don't own any. In the summertime we use a lot of paper plates.

My husband and I normally use our Corelle set. I'm not sure which pattern it is, but its plain except for a dark blue line that goes around the border of the plates/bowls. My kids have their own plastic sets that they use, my younger daughter uses a Spongebob set and my older daughter uses a Hello Kitty set.

My everyday service is Corelle that was my mom's. Before that I had Pzaltzgraff (sp?). That was from my first marriage, I had service for 12. We were smart when we did our bridal registery - I did not register for fine china just stoneware and we got 12 place settings plus a lot of the accessories. That held up for over 15 years, and I did give it away to make room in the dining room. A lot of nights I do use paperplates, to save time cleaning up the dishes, since I try not to use the dishwasher that much. I do have my mom's china for my girls for when they get older.

I use glass dishes.....that have fruit on the edges....I bought them because they have cherries on the edge and that is my accent in the kitchen.....and I love them even though they are getting old! When I bought them I emailed the company that makes them and told them how much I loved the dishes.....they emailed back..."We are loved"...it was a family joke for a while! LOL

We have our foods in Stainless Steel plates. We have different sizes for each one of us. DH have a large oval plate, me have a round one. Both the kids have their own silver plates. But I do have special dinner sets when we entertain. They are made of Corelle and I also have a dinner set made of Stainless Steel too. A full 60 piece set.

We use a China set which was given by my sister in law. Patterns are in blue and I don't know if this one has a certain brand I just know it's kind of expensive. We have ordinary plates but my husband prefer using this.
