Is it what they called Kejawen? I think Javanesse people are wore weak to those theme like mystique or something unrational. I am moslem and I think that those rituals like sesajens or gunungan wont get you any effect for your luck. Its just a craps made by older people to control the people under his/her rules. Maybe your parents see something you dont even see because your love to that girl that might cause your marriage wont last or youll get suffer from those marriage but they dont tell you coz youll ignore it, maybe thats why your mother used weton as her argument :) Maybe you both could speak heart to heart with you parents about this.

I don't believe in mariage under the prophet of jawanies ancient believe... I only believe of God, And respect to parents. I mean God give us signals every where!, friends, sign on the street, through television, maybe jawa prophet, our both parents tell us, which one is more larger, the break trough mariage, or blesh by parents mariage. Cause i will pick the last one. I still can show my mom about all Goods quality that my spouse have. I will do everything i could to make happy in the future. The gate, obstacle, barrier thought there i have to make sure that i will and had conquered it. You know all things will really happen/come through as long as you time by time frequently think about it. So make sure you don't repeat the wrong though, and all people surround you that know you well don't sent the same bad energy that will makes influence of your life and future.
