Well, i hate P.E. or Physical Education or gym class... i don't think i was able to learn anything in that subject... not that i am not athletic... i was a good runner... i played volleyball... and can even play basketball... but i just hated the subject... Maybe because all the teachers i had in that subject were not like the teacher in academic subjects... they would only give us a ball... and then leave... made us copy a lot of lectures... and then leave...and worst of all... forced us to wear silly uniforms... and then leave... What subject did you hate most in school?... was it also P.E.?...

"silly uniforms for P.E." I remember my school days, I also wore those kind of P.E. uniform like bloomers, tights...eeeeooowwwwwwwwwwww lol... those were the days. But even if our teacher made us wore that outfit P.E. was not the subject I hated most. I hate history I find it boring.

I hated those bloomers with passion... what can't they design a more fashionable p.e. uniform... i opted to join military training just so i would be exempted from that subject... and i never regretted it... i love history... that is why i majored it in college... thanks for the response...

Chemistry!! Especially organic chemistry. I never understood anything. It was all so confusing...all those equations...most of which I learnt by rote...just to pass. We had a very elderly teacher who knew her subject very well....but wasn't a good teacher. I remember that most of us would fall asleep in the class. But the rest of my classmates went for tution...which I didn't. Chemistry is my husband's favourite subject and he says it's very easy...and there's nothing to learn by rote...once you know some basics....you can figure out everything else (sort of like Maths). Well, I still can't figure it out (not that I tried...maybe I will when my son has to study it).

I am not very crazy about chemistry... i only had it during my third year in high school... but my teacher then was great at making it very very interesting and fun... we had lots of experiments... with the difficult equations... i ask a friend to tutor me... and that really worked... thanks for the response...

I didn't like my history teacher in High School so made me not like the subject too! I was not motivated to study and it was very boring for me. I love our teacher in PE but I hate our uniform, the bloomer, made me not comfortable since it was too short and I was not used to wear short as those when I was young..LOL! But, I survived!

Correct, students now are more lucky for their PE uniform. I agree, I miss a lot about the subject which I know I should have studied very well!

I think it's the teachers who make the class boring or not. Especially in history. History tends to get very boring if the class wasn't handled carefully. When I was in grade school, our history teachers were so boring and half the time our eyes were half-closed. But in high school, we had teachers who seemed to be story-telling, sometimes their voices would boom out when emphasizing a point, and sometimes they're close to a whisper. It's really fun. There wasn't a dull moment.

I hated p.e it was boring and all the other girls were so horrible! In fact I managed to get out of doing p.e for about 2 years by having a problem with my knee, brilliant.

At least having a knee problem had its positive side... i had to take military training just to escape going to P.E.... so you are quite lucky... thanks for the response... and i must say... you have a very interesting avatar... i love it...

I hate mathematics definitely. I am just not doing well in science, especially in math. I have to spend a lot of time on it. But the result is not that satisfactory. Worse still, some of my math teachers were not kind at all. They did not do their job well but own all the responsibility to the students which made me hate math even more. Even though I do not hate it that much or find it interesting sometimes, the frustration is just not that easy to swallow. Fortunately, I do not have to study math now because I major in language at university. But sometimes I miss the science. Because dealing with languages all the time can be boring.

I was lucky to have very good math teachers... so even if the subject was quite difficult... i learned to love it more because of them... and was even inspired to go back to school just to major in math... thanks for the response... and welcome to mylot... i hope you enjoy your stay here...

Well that's lucky for you to have good math teachers. Some of mine are just nightmares. I was beaten by one of my math teachers on my hand which hurts so bad~~~ Another is the vice president of our school. He had to go trips frequently. Thus we always had different teachers to take his place. Worse still, he just downloaded the PPT and showed us on the classes instead of illustrating to us himself. Thank you for your welcome :) Enjoy your day.

I hated gym too. We didn't really have uniforms, we were just told to wear shorts or seatpants of any color with a white t-shirt, or any color sweatshirt, white socks and our sneakers. My biggest problem with it was that I just really didn't like sports much and I was not at all coordinated enough for things like softball or basketball. I was fine with soccer and some of those things but I hated to stand out there in front of everybody trying to hit or shoot a ball whne I knew I was going to miss everytime.

Well, the only sports that the teachers actually made us play were volleyball, basketball, and tracks... which i thought was not enough since there are like hundreds of sports that we can do... not all student are coordinated with sports that involves a ball... thanks for the response...

Awww I loved PE one of my favorite subjects but we didn't have to wear a uniform LOL I wasn't much of a scholar and loved sports instead. Played Basketball, Netball and Volleyball most of my life until I ruptured my archilles tendon about 4-5 years ago. I didn't really like school and other than PE being my favorite subject, I did like maths :)

No I didn't hate PE. I enjoyed playing the different sports. The subjects I hated most were music and history. Music because I'm not that musically inclined. I found the do-re-mi-fa-sol routine boring. History because I didn't want to read all those books and memorize all the dates and the names. There were just too many! Later on in life though I did appreciate the importance of learning history. It helps us understand the present and avoid the mistakes of the past.

I love history... in fact i was a history teacher for 8 years... i am so glad that you were able to realize its importance... i must admit that all those dates and names can be tiring... but that is one of the essense of studying history... i didn't like music too... and i was glad to have only studied it for 1 year... thanks for the response...

I hated P.E. the most and hated every class. I liked to swim and bike and play ball. I hated the fact that they would make you do sports and what they said were sports when you were just wasting your time. They did gymnastics every year for awhile. One year I had a great teacher who understood. So I wasn't insulted when during the balance beam he leaned over and asked if I had life insurance! I am not built for a balance beam. I am built to play tackle football! I think I would have liked the class if we only played sports and didn't have to do things I hated like gymnastics and running. On the other hand I think that P.E. is important to have in schools. It gives kids a chance to exercise and burn off energy. I'm just glad I will never have to take it again!

Eventhough i hated P.E... i think it is still important because students who are not incline to academics... would most likely excell in P.E... i just wished we had good teachers... and that we were made to choose the sports that we were to study... thanks for the response...

I had two subjects I hated. Like you, I hated P.E. I'm uncoordinated, obviously not athletic and it was embarrassing from start to finish. Our instructors always stayed with the class, weren't critical or anything like that, but just being a total failure in front of everyone was horrendous. I also hated public speaking - I would get physically sick before getting up in front to make a presentation. It was a mandatory class in junior high. I suppose they thought it was beneficial. whit

Well, i think public speaking is beneficial... i think it is required so that students will overcome their shyness and develop how to compose themselves in public... the teachers is totally responsible for that... i also understand why you hated P.E... students who are not incline to sport would certainly look awkward infront of those who are... thanks for the response...

I absolutely could not stand PE. I was the most inactive person in high school and did not like to participate in organized sports because I was shy and unathletic. I'm better about sports now and am willing to give games a try, but when I was younger it was like a nightmare. Also, I hated changing clothes in front of a bunch of other people. It was so embarrassing.

Math. its really the subject that I found really hard that's why I hate it, I don't know if it's really the subject or the teachers because sometimes It's really depends on them on how they explain and motivate the students how they're good explaining, how nice and not like a monster that would eat you everytime you commit errors he he..

A bulk of it depends on the teacher... a good teacher can turn the most boring and difficult subject into something that students would look forward too... and i was lucky enough to have such math teachers... but unlucky not to have any good P.E. teachers... thanks for the response...

I love my PE classes and enjoyed them very much, especially our badminton and softball PE class in college! I remember our team winning 2nd place for the softball competition! Our medal is still at home safely kept, Its wonderful sports. Maybe what i dont like in school is statistics. I hate this subject so much that i got a barely passing grade, No matter how hard i study and try to put it on my mind. i am just soo o confused with statistics. My second favorite is History. Its nice and wonderful to know and talk about the things that have happened in the past. its almost like me time travelling.

But I do love Chemistry and other science-related stuffs, it's just that I don't really enjoy MATH ever since I was still in grade school. I think I did enjoyed P.E., though I also don't like those uniforms they prefer to wear for us.

I really hated PE and the PE teacher thought that I didn't have any talent in the subject at all. I was useless at running, couldn't catch a ball and threw a ball in the wrong direction. I was terrible at gymnastics and awful at dancing. One time my friend forgot her trainers so the horrid PE teacher made her go on the tennis court in bare feet. Her feet got cut and very sore indeed. Cross country running was the worst activity to do. My mum wasn't bothered with my poor report in the subject because she was more concerned with academic subjects like English and I did well int that subject luckily.
