after their introduction in mylot, I have seen many people are using them in all posts. I also use them often but not always. I think it was needed in Mylot. Do you use them for all of your posts or some?
There is a limitation that only 3 can be used in a post. do you think this should be abolished?

I'm one of those dummies who hasn't quite figured out how to use them. I tried once to use the bold print for a couple words but then when it posted it put the entire post in bold from that point on. I'm still tinkering with it and I'm sure I'll get it eventually.

I don't used that codes that much. I think I've only used it once. I have to have a very long discussion or response to have a reason for using the codes.

wow I didn't even know that we could only use 3 in a post. LOL!! I think it should be abolished. why limit the amount of coding? Don't put it there and expect us only to have limited use of it. Grrr. But I don't use the Mylot code for all my posts infact I very rarely use it. LOL!!!

Hello dear friend. Yes, I happened to have found that there is limitation when I used more than three and then you will have to remove one before you can post the comment again. I was surprised to find this.

Yes i love using the emoticons and use them wherever i find them necessary. All the posts would have been so dull without them. It makes the discussions all the more interesting. Good topic

Hello Subha,
After myLot announced that they add the code feature I started to use it in all of my responses. And a lot of members were says that myLot should add this feature.
I usually use it to accentuate something that I say.
It's a very cool feature.
Take care and have a great day,
ScarFace.

I do not use the codes in all of my posts. It all depends on what I am repling to or if I feel the need to add one in there. I think they were needed in Mylot also because I was making my own sometimes. I have also noticed that they can only be used a maximum of three times in a psot. I think it is sufficient for myself.

Yes, it is very interesting feature and I simply love it. I try to use mylot code(s) as much as I can. It gives beauty to the replies and comments and mylot code helps us conveying our feelings and sentiments to the fellow mylotters.
I appreciate mylot's efforts on this front.

I haven't had that privilege yet :)...i am working on trying to get there.I think they can help in letting someone know your mood in a specific post.

I don't use the smiley on all my posts, only when I feel like it hehe. But I just read from another discussion that it might actually help in adding to my earnings so I might consider using them more often from now on, but of course, still with moderation. I don't like seeing too many smileys in a single post either hehe I can usually relate to a few of the smileys anyway.

Hi Subha,
Thanks for the good question and thanks to the good answer that mylotter give you. I am a newbie here, i was curious why other people can have their codes and i don't. I thought might be because i don't reach a 1000 posts yet, i need to work harder to get it. It seems i am wrong. I just don't know how to use it. lol
