Have you thought of travelling while doing some volunteer work?. Sometimes that may work in your favour. Once your finished college ,depending on what you major in. That could bring with it opportunities to travel. There is always a expensive way to travel or inexpensive. I know in North America there is agencies that have vehicles that need to be delivered across the country. Thats a free ride...to drive it to its location. When I travelled as a youth across the country I would get a job where ever I went. That may have been easier then than it is today. That was maybe 30 years ago. But you always find a way.

When I was a child I dreamed that one day I would go traveling. I had a globe and I used to hold it and move one of my fingers to different places that I wanted to go to. I had day trips and short breaks to France when I was a child. When I was 13 I got a paper round and saved up to go traveling. I managed to afford to go to Greece for a holiday to Greece with my mum when I was 14. I got a Saturday job when I was 16 and I saved up even more money from this to go to other places in Europe. When I was 19 I went to the Netherlands with a friend for a long weekend. Then when I was 18 I worked in Finland as a children's nanny and then went around Europe by train. So i did near by my home country trips at first however later on in my life I have manages to go around the world, visit tropical islands and go on an African safari.
I suggest that you save as much as possible, read travel guides and do a few trips to near to your home country at first. Budget travel would be a good thing for you to learn about. Staying in a backpackers hostel, going camping in a tent or staying in a cheap guest house can be good accommodation that won't cost much. Comparing air ticket prices and thinking about going off season can give you a few travel bargains. Good luck.

We all love to travel at some point in our life I supposed....And yes, travelling is never cheap...transport, accomodation, food etc...
Its hard to save up when you're still schooling. Wait till you are working and has a regular income....it will be easy to go travelling after that

Some of my friends could travel and stay in China for months in the 80's and 90's. At those time, everything was cheap. Nowadays, everything is expensive. Places once were free have admission. Been to West Lake years ago. The "Ten Scenes of West Lake" are famous all through the history. Now they charge fee for each scene. Hope you can afford and do some fun traveling soon.
