I am self employed now because of this saying. The success of any company is based on the structure built by those in charge. I used to run an employment agency and it was successful. My staff was happy and our success was due to analyzing each employee's strengths and giving them a role they would excel at. I also gave them 3 topics for the next day's meeting. They each contributed at each meeting regarding improvements in their areas. This formula worked very well. Unfortunately, I had investors that would stab eachother in the back and the problems began. I sent each of my employees to job interviews and they each had a replacement job before I walked away. Many managers forget that th people they hire make up the machine of their business. They are to be treated with mutual respect and their opinions count.
