What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy your job? What don't you like about it? If you could change careers, what would it be? If your a college student like me, what career will you pursue when your done?

I'm a PhD student. I have a scholarship so I have to work at a research lab to gather information to write my thesis. This is the last year so the next step is to find a posdoc position. The problem is that it would also be a scholarship, this means that I don't get any social charges.

Aren't scholarships a good thing? How could that be a problem?

Scolarships are good until a certain level. Once you get to a certain age you should be ablo to enter the national programme of retirement (in our country, the government takes some of your salary to pay the ones that are already retired, then when you get retired you receive a stipend). You should also be able to apply for a credit and have your own credit card. If you have a scolarship (which is not considered a salary) you don't have these rights. So, yes, it is good until you are 25. After that it becomes a problem.

I'm an stna =P um nuff said about that one.... If I could change careers, I really don't know yet! but I'm researching different ones to see if I would like it. I think I need to actually see the job first before really knowing if I'd like to do it. So we'll see. but I was considdering being an X-ray tech. or Sonographer. I always thought it would be fun to teach a class of some sort (something related to like, ONE thing, such as yoga or painting...) not those but something like that heh. I'm not in college yet! but I will hopefully be starting in the spring of 09. (hopefully if everything goes well with the baby.)

Omg...I'm an Stna too!! =0 Yes, I enjoy my job sometimes, but it's definetly a love/hate relationship. I am finishing up my second year of college and working on my Bachelor's degree as a Registered Nurse. My ultimate goal is to obtain a Master's degree as either a Nurse Practitioner or Midwife, working in a large hospital or private doctor's office.

I planned on becoming a video game designer and I am currently taking classes on this subject, but once I got use to this college I am in, I fond myself not liking it for the amount of focus they have on teaching students to be artists. This is something I didn't want and didn't know about. When I learned about making money from the internet, this became something I wanted to do. Working for myself and making enough to make a living.

Right now I'm an accountant clerk. I will love to be VP of a major corporate or own my business, that way I'll be my own boss.
