I need a traveling plan for India

Two years ago I traveled in India for about six months. I had the time of my life, but as you know India is huge and I obviously missed out on alot of great places. I didn't travel in an orderly fashion, just lots of parties,beaches and basically got lazy and stayed to long in the same places. I really want to go back and see the rest, can anybody give me some feedback?
