Here is a tip for all you delusi - i mean - believers out there on how to avoid an atheist.
What is the foundation of your religion?
If its faith, the atheist will leave you alone.
What is the foundation of my atheism?
logic, facts and observable reality... (scientific method, objectivism, rationalism, etc etc..)
If you ever meet an atheist that tries to convince you that your beliefs are wrong.. just tell them...
"my beliefs are based on 'faith' and nothing you can say or argue will change it"
the atheist would stop... and he will probably run away..
However, if your beliefs are based on anything other than 'faith' like, 'evidence' .. be prepared for a showdown... one in which, if you are a logical and consistent thinker, you will loose.
there are two types of people in this world... those that are logical and consistent, and those that aren't. The [experienced] atheist debater only deals with the former...
so, what is the foundation of your religion?

Your atheism is just a greater faith as belief, since you cannot prove your position either

When you have gotten over your delusions of grandeur perhaps you can give us your logical proof of the non-existence of God.

Hi Fighting,
My beliefs are based on anatomy, biology, and experience working with a Power greater than myself. If you go back and review a few of your previous discussions, you'll find specific details in my testimony. I've posted it more than once, and I'd rather not post it again. Even at 90 WPM, it's still a lot of typing!

The foundation of my religion Is faith. The basic of my religion is the Golden Rule. Everything else is extra.I hope you won't run away. I enjoy our discussions. And I will lay down my life to keep the Church separate from the state so you can be you and I can be me.
