Boy today is a heavy day for me. I have fibromyalgia, and this constant change in weather is taking it's toll on me. I feel heavy and so tired when it is gloomy and a storm is coming. Moving takes great effort and I feel sad. When the sun was out earlier, I was more up, but can now feel the cold and dampness bring me down.

I know many suffer after broken bones. I hate to see young people get hurt, because it is a life time of suffering. Sorry for your pain. I have a Far-infared heat lamp that really helps my joint pain. Wonder if you use anything to help heat those painful areas. Thanks for replying.

Hi, I bet the wrist is a bother, Raydene. I hope it heals quickly without any more problems. Glad the antibiotics are working. I have been so cold this morning. The wind is chilly and the air is damp even though we have nearly 40 degrees, the ice refuses to melt. Have to be careful walking forsure.

Well thank God there's someone else out there who knows my pain. I just was diagnosed with Fibrogmyalgia last month after years of people thinking it was all in my head. I know what you're saying about the heaviness with the change in the weather. It just about kills me too. Isn't it strange how some days, very rare, you feel so good like you don't have anything and then BANG, you can't move again.
I was also diagnosed with osteoarthritis and two herniated discs and they don't help. But the Fibromyalgia was the worst because it is so sporatic.
Hang in there girl, I know your pain.
Thanks friend,
Cheryl

Thanks for sharing. All people with fibromyalgia walk around with a great deal of pain. We get so used to it, that we just live with it for the most part. I feel pain for people with one significant problem, but I often forget I have pain also. HA. We get up in the morning and feel great and have plans and then bam, something stresses us in the least and all we can feel like is crawling back into bed. Going outside does help me alot. I have horses and other animals, so I have to go out! Sometimes I struggle, but the rewards pay off.

It is often hard for those around us to understand how we feel, physically or emotionally. I hope you have made up if that is what you want from this relationship. I had a relationship that was quarrel some. I felt committed and loved the good in this person and then he broke off. It has been the best thing that has happened to me. I was holding onto something that was not good for me. Don't get me wrong, I still love him and probably always will, but I know who I am and I like me much better. I will never allow that kind of situation in my life again!Hope you are feeling more up. Take care of yourself. you are who is important!

I am one of those people whose mood is afected by the weather. When the weather is nice, I try to stay outdoors as much as I can. When the weather is crappy, I try to keep busy, and not sit at home and think about it. It's nice being in Arizona during the winter, especially in this building with a pool and a hot tub.

Arizona sound nice. I keep thinking it would be nice place to be. Humidity is horrible for me, so sure wouldn't go to Florida. I am an outdoor person and have horses, so keep active with feeding, training etc., but this weather is impossible to get around. We have had ice most of winter. saw a glimmer of hope for spring today. It actually got up to 60 degrees after rain all day. Spring will make us all feel better.

I have had it for about 20 years and yes the weather for sure works on it good. I live in the midwest so winter is especially hard, the pain on damp snowy days is intense, not to mention the toll it takes on my skin and mood. Very hot days seem to effect it as well as it makes my eczema flair up on the back of my neck, which is also caused from the fibromyalgia. I am trying to get disability at this point. My best suggestions I can give you is in the summer, stay in the cool air and in the winter, warm with a dehumidifier.

Yes weather reflects my mood, spring makes me active and fresh, winter makes me dull and depressed.
