Definitely a laptop... Because you can take it with you :)

I have to use a laptop because of its convenience. If possible, I would attach an extra keyboard and big monitor to my laptop while home. Ergonomic design is the reason. I never like the mouse replacement (the touch pad) of a laptop. Another reason is, laptop keyboard is expensive to replace. So using a replaceable keyboard makes sense.

I prefer laptop. It is more convenient to use and I can bring it anywhere. My office can be everywhere using it.

i personally prefer the desktop, even though i use the laptop more for my work... Desktop because you can put in graphics card and RAM and everything of the sort and thus get a smoother experience, regardless of wht u do.....

Hello dear mikosoft. I prefer laptop for its convenience to carry around. I have been using laptop since not long after I started to use computer, though I used desktop first. I think that it is because I am used to using the laptop keyboard. I do not like desktop out of its noise made by the fan, which is loud. I do not feel comfortable for the noise. lol

I have both and I find I tend to use my laptop for things like surfing the net chatting to my boyfriend movies and the like so I can change my location. Ive been known to sit out on the deck with my laptop or take it in the car. I love the portability.
I love my desktop for things like gaming, a permanent connection to the printer, webdesign projects and any storage of information i wouldn't want anyone to get their hands on if my laptop walked off.
So I guess what I prefer depends on what I'm going to be doing.
