I belong to another site (ehow.com) and I can sign into that site just fine. When I go to sign into my earning's page, it keeps giving me the same (sign in)page repeatedly. I can't approve friends or do anything on the site I get a white page with 404 in the top left corner when I try to do something. Now I have Windows XP, IE6 and Norton.
I can do everything I want to do with this site on my daughter's laptop that has the same as above. I just can't do it on my computer.
Does anyone have a clue as to what I have to do to unblock myself? I do not have window's firewall enabled, I do have Norton's and I disabled it and everything but the anti virus and still have the problem.
Programs on the computer are absolute poker, weather bug and roboform.
I did a complete format of my computer last week and before adding these programs, still had the problem, so if ANYONE Can help me I would appreciate it deeply.
This is another pay site for writing and I am very upset that I am having so many problems now. Everything was fine when I started and a week later I started to have problems. It has been about 3 weeks now having the problem.
Thanks for any and ALL help.

Oh no that don't sound very good for you. Hope that's not a very bad sign of the site going to crash.
It could be just be a system thing where the programer is doing some maintence.
Maybe you should check the forums and get some feed back from those in the know.
Trying to an internet search on ehow forum

They don't know what to tell me. I have asked and clearing the cookies and rebooting didn't work. I did a format on my computer and that didn't work either.
No maintenace going on I can access it from the laptop, so I don't understand and neither does my daughter or her boyfriend (computer person). Has him wondering as he did what he knew and nothing worked. lol

Thank you I am very frustrated to know I can access that on my daughter's laptop, and not on my computer. lol Doesn't seem right.

It sounds like your cache was full or corrupted. Try going into IE Tools Settings and clear temporary internet files and cache. If that doesn't do it, uninstall and reinstall IE.
I use Firefox myself most of the time, but some sites require IE, so you should still try to fix it.
