Is there a way to edit a piece of paper that has stuff written all over it?

What I'm meaning to tell is that my mom wants me to write all this stuff down over again and i was wondering if i could just scan it and then edit it in the computer?

i don't know what type of operating system you have, but you should have some kind of notepad. just write the list in that, and save it to your desktop. name it something like "Mom's List" then anytime you have to change it, just open it, make changes and print it(hopefully you have a printer, if not you'll have to write it down every time) when you close it, it should ask if you want to save changes. if you make it like a form with blank spaces you fill in don't save changes and you'll have a clean form every time you open it.

I meant like for example:
My mom got a paper from a college right??
Then she asked to rewrite it and i was wondering if i could just scan it on my computer....then edit it from there so i don't have to retype it?

if you have a scanner you should be able to put it in your computer, then manipulate the image with photoshop(i use gimp)or something. if you're changing text, you'll have to match up the font size, style, and color. but with an image manipulation program you can erase stuff, add stuff or whatever.
