I was really impressed with him tonight. I was a little concerned when I heard his song choice but he nailed it!
Kristy also made a really smart song choice tonight. Every vetern watching will probably vote for her. I love this song!!!
So who do you think is going home tomorrow night? I think Ramiele might be.

For me he's a good performer, I like him. Although I didn't like the fact that he took credit for Chris Cornell rendition of Billy Jean released last year in his solo Album. As I remember Ryan Seacrest said the theme was hit songs from the year they were born. That's all :).

Never heard of Chris Cornell. When Ryan mentioned him last night, I thought he was the songwriter.
He didn't break the rules because Billie Jean was from the year he was born.

I totally agree! That was a fantastic flip he did with that song! I was happy Kristy Lee had a good reference from Simon I know that made her day/week! lol
I was shocked 
that Chekeezie went home. I voted for him. I saw nothing wrong with how he sang that song.

You took the words from my mouth. I thought Ryan named the wrong song because I didnt even realize he was singing Billie Jean. That MAN is creative and can sing his A-- OFF! If he dont win, he will definitely get a contract. He is better than the last rocker, Daughtry.

Before the show I went out to votefortheworst to see who they were promoting as the worse this week and that is how I stumbled on the songs they were singing. I wonder how they got the info, but they had every one right.
DH didn't realize it was Billie Jean until I said it again. I was worried about David with Mariah Carey coming on but he will give one of her songs a new spin!!!

I also thought that Ryan named the wrong song. After the show I had my brother watched and listened to David's Cook performance in youtube because he missed the show and I've told him what song he sung. My brother didn't even recognized the song at first because it was changed and have a rock vibe on it. David is really amazing, I've been rooting for him since the beginning. Mariah? hmmm... that would be tough but I'm sure David will make something interesting out of her song. Can't wait for his next performance! Goodluck David, you rock!!!

I love David Cook but do not like Kristy at all. I was very disappointed that she did not get kicked off. I would rather have seen Chickezie stay and her go home.
David Cook is now my favorite. Initially it was Archuletta, but Cook has now won me over.

David Cook was definately amazing last night. I was a little worried at first too, when he first started singing, but he really made it amazing. I would buy his album right now.
My husband really likes Brooke too, but I assume it has more to do with her looks than her music.

I fell asleep.. again.. during it... my kids love to listen to david cook, but it was great...
My girls think one of the girls... I just can't remember which one they said.. isn't that sad! LOL

WOW WOW and more WOWs is all I can say about David Cook. I just finished watching it as I didn't get a chance to last night. AND it blew me away. His version was like off the charts. No doubt a contender and I won't be surprise he ends up being the winner of AI this year. I would buy his cd :)
I didn't like the way chekezie sang my favorite artists song - killed it for me.
I agree with you about Kristy, she did a great job singing that song!

I totally agree, David Cook was awesome! I have been a big fan of David Archuleta, but now I have two more favorites-David Cook and Michael Johns. I don't know who will go home. I think it might be the girl who played piano. I can't remember her name.

I like David A. also. I like Michael Johns but last night he was a little schreechy in my opinion. I have always had a thing for the Aussie boys. Must be the accent.
Brooke was the one who played the piano. My DH really likes her but he said she blew it last night. So we shall see.

Cook was great last night. I am actually starting to like him. I hope he doesn't win though. Whoever wins gets stuck with making the album the producers and studio want, which often is marketable for the fast sell and sucks. As far as Kristy goes I like her, wouldn't mind seeing her win. I have a theory and it is vote pretty, because what ever album is made will suck and be forced down our throats through our ears until the next winners album comes out. If I am stuck with a bad album, I might as well have someone I enjoy looking at. it was a good choice of songs and I liked it far better than the original. She is definitely through. Ramiele might leave tonight, but not based on her performance though. There were were performances that were not as good as hers.

Now it is interesting because I have had several people ask what is going on with Jordin Sparks. LOL - We have her album and have been following her career. I don't listen to much top 40 radio so I don't know if she is getting a lot of air time or not.
