I have been taking-up engineering for over a year now. Lately, I realized that I am very much interested in history. I am planning to shift my course. Can you please give me advices. My parents still don't know about this. I want to tell them, but I am afraid that they won't allow me because my tuition fee in school is a bit high and we're not that rich to afford to go to another school with a higher amount of tuition fee. I am really hoping that you would help me on this matter. Thanks a lot!

Asertdd has given you a real good advice. Career comes first than your interests. engineering definetley has lucrative career than History. Once you complete your engg, you could verywell study History while doing job. I was really interested in economics but first i completed my MBA, got a job and now i'm studying Economics lesuirely

It is overwhelming to know that someone has experienced what I am experiencing now. Thanks for the advice. I will follow it. Thanks again.

Well, if you have problem in terms of finances and you don't want to worry your parents... why not finish the engineering course first... then study history when you can afford to send yourself to school... The years and money you spent in studying engineering would only go to waste is you shift now... and your parents may support you... but i think they will still feel disappointed if you push through with your decision...

hey come on, forget your interest right now, since you had paid a high term fees, do pass the exam and get a degree. With this degree you can easily get opportunites in your field later on on course completion.
