Do you take a bath or a shower?

Interesting discussion. I used to take baths but now I take showers. It is easier for me cause I have gotten a little older now and have terrible back trouble so can't get in and out of the tub. It actually was pretty funny, the first time I discovered I couldn't get out. I was going to take a bath cause I had a line inserted into the area of my collar bone cause I had cancer and so couldn't take showers, cause it couldn't get wet, and so got in and discovered I couldn't get out. Well there I was all by myself obviously without any clothes on, and couldn't get out. I did get to laughing and I finally figured out a way to get out. So, I take showers and enjoy them a lot.

Everyone in my house takes showers. It is more of a convience~ so much quicker than getting the tub ready. Also, there is something about sitting in a tub washing your filth off and then sitting in it that grosses me out. I do take baths every once in a while, but it is for pure relaxation. I have a huge circular tub with tons of candles around it. When I have a stressful day and have time in the evening, I will soak in the tub, lite my candles, listen to music and have a few cocktails.

I take showers, but I love baths and I miss them! My tub is too small to take a bath in. I can't relax like I want! I told my hubby I can't wait to move and every house I look at the bathroom is the MOST important for me as I want a big tub to relax in. I think that would help my back a lot

i like showers.... just stand below it and rest gets done on its own!!!!!

I like to take real hot showers. It is nothing like a hot shower. When you take a hot shower it is so relaxing. I like taking showers because it relaxes the body. When I usually go in the shower, I just think back on things. Or what I may do is just brainstorm on different things. Like I will think about my goals or something.

I always shower and only take a bath on very rare occasions

Oh, I would love to unfortunately I don't have a bath tub in my apartment. I only have shower but the shower is good, it's one of my favorite place in the apartment. I actually spend almost an hour if I'm not in a hurry inside the shower.

I take a shower because it is quicker, but I like to take a bath from time to time.

it depends on the temperature. if it really hot, i prefer to spend more time under the shower, enjoying it... but if the temperature is cold, i will take a quick bath, preferring to come out of the shower as quickly as possible....

Showers, baths really are you just sitting in your own filth. Baths are relaxing, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't take one if I just wanted to clean myself.

I like to have shower everyday or several times if I play bascketball.I will have a shower after I play it. I think there is no need to have a baths everyday.I always have a bath once a week so that it can keep me my comfortable.

i love to shower,but once i gets in I'll forget the value of the time and will stay there till i catch a cold.usually it happens like this.

Bath. It is interesting to soak in the tub while you are listening music. Don't forget to drop a little essential oil into water.

honestly I love to take baths, however, I only have time for showers and here is why. I have a 4 and a 2 year old, and unfortunately all they let me do at this time is take a shower, because they take a shower with me. Our bathroom is really cool, I am hoping later on in life as the girls get older and we grow old in this house, we will be able to put in a european shower into the shower area, it is an amazing spa like shower bathroom, it is great. I also am a bit of a snob when it comes to baths, I prefer jacuzzi baths but I do like baths as well. I do not like to hot tub it is just too hot of water...but I would not mind doing a hot tub if it is really cold outside it is very nice

I take shower each day. actually i am a busy bee. for work i get out early from home. on weekends also there are so many other works to be done that i hardly get time for a leisure shower.

I am defintely a shower person. There is just such an process about getting the bath all prepared and then you get in there and then what? I read and the pages get all wet and you have to hold the book up in the air to avoid the water and then I realize that I am actually laying in a pool of my own filth....yuck....I'll take a shower any day

I don't do baths unless I have alot of time, usually I take showers much quicker.

During my days off from work , I like to soak in the tub for a good bath. It's good way for me to relax, I also make sure that there is a scented candle lit up by the side. I usually take cold showers in the morning as it helps wake me up.

i love taking baths but i usually take showers because its easy and less time consuming.well i take bath when i am free enough and fell like relaxing but your daughter theory is really fine......needed to be thought of,well she is correct according to me...
