The internet keeps me busy from time to time, I do research and write. I stay in touch with friends and family. Not to mention I met my boyfriend on the internet and I couldn't be happier.

The internet has made things easier for people to research information, meet other people, learn another language, shop, make money online, online school, and much more. With all of the stuff that can be done, it may be possible for a person to not ever need to leave their house.

The internet has made life easier and faster. LIfe has become more convenient and it has become countries closer to each other. It also has provided so many opportunities even to the younger generation. I can't imagine how life would be without it.

Hi pandaboy, I didn't have a computer until after I retired, but now I think I would be lost without the Internet. It is like the whole world has suddenly opened up for me, and since I'm always wanting to learn new things, it's exactly what I need. Blessings.

It means that instead of going to the public library to look things up in reference books I can do some searching on the internet and find out a lot more than I could from a few books. It means a lot of enjoyment from chatting and communicating with people around the world, finding websites which show me new places, things of interest, fun things to do. It means I can work at home and earn money for myself, by doing something I like, and not having to find someone to employ me to do something I don't much like.
