Buying Credits for Skype

My children are working overseas and I bought skype to be able to talk to them more often and it is very expensive to talk via land line or mobile phone. They don't have Skype, so according to the website I must buy credits. For some reason I cannot complete my registration, because Skype doesn't accept my credit card details. Then I tried to buy credits through moneybookers.com, where I am also registered, but that also doesn't work. Can anyone help me please?
