Wow, it feels good to be here again... Although I won't be here for long, friends, I really, really, really need your advice to help me weigh things. How must I WAIT for a guy to 'move'? Flashback: I 'met' a guy who seems to fit my "The One" list way back September 2007. Weeks after I met - ok, "saw" - him, I tried searching for him in Friendster. Voila, he had an open account! So I sent him an invite. A week after I've sent the invite, he accepted it. I've chanced upon him several times but I run for cover everytime. I feel embarassed knowing that I've somehow made the first move. Mow, six months after I first saw him, we haven't exchanged even a "Hi." Two days ago, I mustered all the courage (geez, my palms were so sweaty afterwards) to send him a message -- via Friendster. I just thanked him for accepting my invitation "months back," even when we haven't been personally introduced. Then I told him I wanted to ask him about the challenges of hosting (because I've been hosting some shows myself) and that I hope to hear from him soon. By the way, I know I have my own share of achievements but still I think I'm way out of his league... The question, friends: Should I wait another six months before I tell myself he's really not interested?

You've had no interaction with this person at all? You just 'saw' him on a website and that's it? I say its time to give it up. If there was a chance he was interested, he would have let you know before now.

We were in a retreat together. He was the host back then. We've chanced upon each other several times in church but I always duck for cover so he won't see me...
