DMI is short for Desktop Management Interface, an interface that allows software programs to collect information about hardware.
When this verification hangs there is a problem in hardware or in the BIOS.
Try this: Enter the BIOS, Vai to page PNP / PCI Configuration Setup, select Reset Date and Configuration tax Enabled in parameter. You restart the computer.
If that does not work and hangs try to set the BIOS with the parameters set by the original manufacturer of the motherboard.
Another reason could be the hard drive that is not configured well: in this case go in the BIOS to voice Standard CMOS Features Setup select IDE Primary Master and select the option Auto.
Another reason is that you still have damaged or no longer present files for the operating system boot then in this case you must instalalre new operating system, even without the computer format. This you can do by inserting the disk operating system in the CD and then turning your computer: thus start the installation.
Last extreme case may be that has damaged the hard drive and in this case have to do is buy a new hard drive.
