If you could write for a newspaper what would you write about?

I am currently writing for a newspaper in my hometown, a newspaper that is written by teenagers, and in the first issue i had 2 articles: the first was about recycling in general and especially what's going on in my country in that area and a more personal article about video games. I tried to keep the second one objective as much as possible but since i'm a gamer i know all the cliches you could ever hear about games and gamers so i wrote that gives games a fighting chance.
Now enough with me...i wanted to ask people what type of newspapers they write for and what subjects they wrote about or if anyone is thinking about writing in a newspaper then what he/she would write about. :)

if i were to write for a paper i would write about my passion and things that i knew about so for me personally that would be sports, but i live for sports so it wouldnt be that hard i could easily fill a whole paper on sports never mind one article

I like wring on relationships, love and family issues like parenting! They can impact on some readers for the good!

I wrote for a school newspaper sort of thing when I was in school. It was nothing really that spectacular, but interviews were always fun to do. Just pick some random person or store owner to interview and put it in your publication. If it really takes off you could have submissions for people to do articles on...
Beyond that, I'm not really sure. Current events are fun to write about if there's anything going on.

I would like to write for the music, movies but also for more important things as politics!
I have write once at a big newspaper but it was just a letter for the reality shows!

I have a thing for history, but most people don't appreciate and think it's boring, so if I was given the chance to write for the local newspaper, I probably would write about ghosts and any other type of paranormal phenomena. I know some good stories and I am sure they would sale fast.

Wow that would be exciting writing for a newspaper. If I ever wrote for the newspaper I would like to write about miracle or success stories, I think there needs to be alot more good news in the paper. I would also like to write about poverty or homeless people and try and see if we can help these people more.

If I could write for a newspaper, I write about the government and who keeps on stealing money from the pot of gold of the country, who keeps on killing other politicians and making a nonsense arguements to have the chair for their dream positions. Tell them to unite and make an action to improve the economy of the country where they are live rather than making discussions that the only effect is breaking down of the place.
