I hate the idea of keeping a journal but I decided to keep a dream journal and it's really weird and also fun to see how many details I forget about a certain dream after a period of time. I also use my dreams or parts of my dreams when I write fiction so the journal helps. :)

I used to keep dream journals on a daily basis. I am not sure why I stopped. My dreams have not stopped.
There are several online dream journals you can post to and make them private for you or public for "interpretation" by others.
Dreamjournal.net is one for which I have just joined

i used to keep track of my dreams quite regularly...it was important to me because often i could see a pattern of dreaming things and them happening or relating to my waking life.
Since having a baby though the dreaming has been put on hold. Mostly this is because she wakes me up in the middle of the night or in the morning abruptly with her crying and so me remembering a dream is pretty slim except for the few chances i wake up before her, lol.
There are many times I will remember just one part of a dream or a theme of a dream or just a fragment, this is worse sometimes :)

I've been TRYING to keep a dream journal, but I've just been too lazy when it comes to recording it down. The reason I first started getting interested is because I have really wierd dreams and I thought it would be interesting to wright them down before I forget, and maybe try to interpret them. I just have to stop being lazy and get my pen and paper out...
