Everyone has their own philosophy of life shaped up by the numerous experiences they have gone through. It's upto u to decide ur philosophy of life. When u find that to which ur heart can relate to,writing comes pretty easily.Just walk down the memory lane and rediscover those moments of laughters and tears too...An useful tip is just remember the most depressive and difficult situation u have faced in your life and how did u overcome it..Ur philosophy of life will unravel itself at that moment of rediscovery. You can convince others on ur writing only when you write something which u believe in...So search for it...

I guess the first place to start would be to decide and jot down exactly what YOUR philosphy of life is.....Once you've done that you can start actually writing from your notes etc and go from there i suppose...

Try to take a look at what each religion already has to say on it. The eastern religions have quite an interesting view on life.

Do research and start writing.
That would be the first step, beyond that try to find a publisher.
I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in terms of how to proceed. If you mean how to start your book, well, that's entirely up to you.

Philosophy of life is a topic that can touch to a myriad of different aspects and topics. But it is a good theme to pursue.
Let me suggest some points to consider.
Philosophy is a disciplined approach to reality with the aid of reason. As such, it can be a scholarly discipline, or simply a discernment about the way of life one decides to follow or be guided with. These are philosophy's two facets. But you have to reminded that philosophy dwells on many human questions about God, human existence, our purpose in life, the meaning of our existence, our world, our humanity, etc. You'd be sure to find a host of issues to discuss.
Of the two aspects of philosophy, I believe that your book falls into the second one - a discernment about our way of living. Of course, it does not mean that while you shall be treating on aspects of human living, your presentation must be less scholarly or unsystematic. It just means that your book is not for academic philosophy. Instead, your book may well serve those who find meaning in their lives by what they believe, what they hold dear or how they are guided with a reasoned sense of purpose in life.
Still, I suggest that you try to concentrate the range of topics which your book wish to discuss. Try to delimit your topic. Philosophy of life can touch to a set of themes - you may choose which ones are you gonna focus on. It helps to give advice about life when you yourself know what are your goals for the book. It helps to focus so as not to scatter.
Limiting your choice of topic may need that you consider the following:
1. What is the purpose of your book?
2. Who is your target audience?
3. What issues of your target audience do you wish to address?
4. What scientific methodologies are you willing to adopt? - psyhchology, anthropology, behavioral science, physics, health? Remember that these sciences give us more insights that we can ever imagine. Even when you wish to write a book about philosophy, these sciences are essential in our reflections about life.
5. What are the specific topics which you aim at touching on from those which you have chosen in number 3?
Remember, having an outline helps. It keeps you from swaying from your intended purpose. You see, I am a writer myself. And many times, I find myself jotting down ideas freely. And in times when I have to organize my thoughts, they just shoot up randomly and I find them difficult to discipline, especially when I do not have outlines.
So there, I hope I was of any help. If there are anything which I can still help you with, tell me. I am doing this advice with random thoughts. I may have missed some important things too.
Goodluck.
