Mine was, wine, when I was 16 years old. My friends and I were all drinking from a cast of wine (goonie we called it). I was so sick the next day, probably why I do not like wine today. The thought of it makes me sick, lol. So what was your first drink? Do you still like that alcoholic beverage today?

I was very very young. I suffered from colic and I was not a normal colicie baby. My dad was the one who stayed home with me when I was a baby. It was honestly driving him nuts with all the crying that I did. My brother would hand him the whiskey bottle (also a little kid) and say to my dad "Papa (meaning my grandpa) drinks this and knocks him out and goes zzzzz" give her some and she will go night night. My dad thought about it and then called him mother in law to ask. She also said it was ok to give me a shot of whiskey with luke warm water in my bottle. I drank that and was sound asleep. It sure worked for them LOL. I still love whiskey to this day.

I am sure you were sound asleep after a shot of whiskey, that would have knocked you right out. I have been told by someone's grandma that dipping dummy in whisky will help calm them down. But did not actually think people would do it, lol, especially by putting it in your bottle. Atleast it did not do too much harm to ya, you seem to love your whisky now because of it, lol.

They tried rubbing it on my stomach but it didn't help. Grandma said it was ok to give it in the bottle that it wasn't going to harm me any. Which it did affect me at all. With a baby that had severe colic it was their last resort. Parents will do what they have to do providing it will not harm the child in anyway.

I had my first drink when I was about 14/15 and I think it was an alcopop like smirnoff ice or something along those lines. I used to have two and get drunk! I still drink them today (I'm 19 now) but prefer other drinks.
