We have a circle of toadstools that pop up every winter
The kids are convinced that are fairies there.
They even imagines doors in the trunks of the toadstools
It is sooo cute.
I'm sure our fairies are good

You never know there could be.
It's good to see tree doors are still going.
We hang charms on our cherry tree for the fairies and the tree sprites, my boys are still young enough to enjoy it and it's so sweet to watch.
Do you have Dew Fairies - when the sun lights the dew into little sparkles of colour or sugar faires which you free from dandelion clocks as that's where new fairies come from?
It's good to hear someone elses kids apart from mine get to enjoy the magic, and who's to say there's no truth in it, especially if it brings such happiness.
Thsnk-you so much for your reply.

Fairies are kinda in between good and bad.
Pixies are your good creatures while Sprites are the bad. Fairies just want to exist without trouble, but like to cause mischief and if you do bother them they will seek revenge in the worst way.
There is a legend of a man disturbing a fairy's home and he had a thorn growing in his palm for a year. No matter what he did, the thorn was there.

I would have thought it was good to have fairies at the bottom of the garden, it nust be a good garden if they want to live in it.

I thought that was the white picket fence!
The tooth fairy lives in a tower made of little teeth, all labelled and kept together for every child, what a buzy little lady she must be! Apparently childrens teeth can be used to make powerful magic. Always wondered where she got the pennies though?
