Yes, I have been to the Caribbean to the beautiful island of St Lucia. I went there with my mum. The weather was hot and humid. We stayed in Rodney Bay and had a lovely view over a pretty little swimming pool. Our room was on the ground floor and so charming tiny lizards visited us on the veranda. It was one a five minute walk to the golden sandy beach called Rodney Bay. It was so beautiful with the gently waving palm trees and the green hotel gardens set back from the beach. The aquamarine sea was delightfully warm. We took a day trip out to see the stunning Pitons a mountain with twin peaks. We went to the world's only drive in volcano that smelt like rotten eggs. It was superb to bathe in a cool waterfall. I liked seeing a village where the local people lived because it showed their culture. We went into Castries, the capital, on a different day. It was great to visit the local market and see all the local people living in such a pretty place. I have been to Belize and when I was there I went to Caye Caulker. I liked its colorful main street, the snorkeling trips and the lovely coastal views. The people were so friendly and prices were reasonable. I would love to go island hopping by plane in the Caribbean. I would get an air pass and see Tobago, Grenada, St Vincent and Barbados. Then I would spend time on the palm fringed beaches, go snorkeling in the warm ocean, see the amazing landscape, see native wildlife and see the local people. There are many more islands I would like to go to like the Corn Islands off the coast of Nicaragua and San Andres Island that belongs to Colombia.

I have been to the Carribean before... infact i worked in Cuba for two years... and was able to stay in Jamaica for a very short time... if you are the type of person who loves to be under the sun and swim on the beach... then... the Carribean is the place for you...
