How are earning calculated?

I know there are tons of posts about myLot earnings. I've looked through many of them and have not found what I am looking for. I apologize if this is redundant.
I understand that it is the quality of the post rather than the number of posts. But do any of the things below help or hurt my earnings?
- adding tags
- Best Responses
- +/- rating
- starting discussions rather than responding to them
- Personal messages
- Number of friends
- Links in a post
- pictures in a post
- pictures in my profile
- my ranking in an interest group
- my star rating
- spelling

Well i think the that don't mind so much about the earning as long as there are earning ... it not easy to earn a leaving in mylot unless you have 10000 Active members referal in mylot yea .

I agree. I'm not all that motivated by the earnings but if there are things that I can do differently that will enhance my earnings, then I want to be sure that I do them.
