yesterday. I bought my Mom some gas for her car and I paid with my prepaid visa card. I only purchased 10.00 in gas, The gas station took 55.00 dollars off of my card. I could not believe it. On the bottom of the receipt it says any problems call this number. I called and they did nothing, the charge is still there. I called the card company and they said that the gas company doesn't know how much I spent on gas so they took 55.00 dollars and as soon as the receipt showing I only spent 10.00 it will be put back. Can you believe that. They took my money and I cant use it until they get around to doing the receipts. The place is called Bear oil company at a shell gas station just so you know. Has anyone ever heard of this kind of business practice? Does anyone know who to contact to report this problem?

yes every company, banks etc,
they have to do their accounting, or they cannot help you, everything has to be accounted for for the government

I dont think that gives them the right to take money that I never spent their. Its like they went into my wallet and said let me take this and Ill give back when I get around to it. They stole it. I dont even know if I'll get it back. They have not given it back.

not if they said they would never fix it,
they are saying they need to do their accounting to fix it for you and them
mistakes happen,
they need time to fix it.
