spider veins

I have really bad spider veins in my right leg and heart disease runs in my family. I'm scared that i'm going to have bad blood circulation in my legs have heart problems. What can i do to minimize the risk of heart disease and to stop these spider veins. My mother had spider veins terribly. Are there special foods that i should eat to help this as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :)
