Called a number to become a movie Extra...

So yesterday I called this place called the Casting Talent Network. The person on the phone asked for my zipcode and said there were plenty of jobs here in my area. Then he went on to say that I would have to have a profile and that it would be $45.00. Does anyone know if that sounds legit or not? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I called a number about a year ago and got the same thing. I think it is a scam. I believe that it's much like the number you call to get a job with the post office or the number for foreclosures and repos, etc.
A good way to make money would be to come up with an idea similar to get people to call and give us $45.00. LOL
