If it was about the Bush Tax cuts, it would still be a lie that they were just "For the rich", but that's a lie a lot of people tell so I wouldn't single him out here. The thing is, if it was about the Bush tax cuts, he wouldn't have said "another tax cut for the rich", since back then, it wasn't "another".

True but he has a pretty comprehensive website. I don't usually care so much but you are calling Obama a liar bout something I have never heard Obama even speak close to of. My guess is this is all about the Bush Tax Cuts and not the stimulus package. I guess its lost on the airwaves forever and we'll never know.

The policies of the Bush Administration threw the economy further out of balance. Tax cuts without end for the wealthiest Americans. A trillion dollar war in Iraq that didn't need to be fought, paid for with deficit spending and borrowing from foreign creditors like China. A complete disdain for pay-as-you-go budgeting - coupled with a generally scornful attitude towards oversight and enforcement - allowed far too many to put short-term gain ahead of long term consequences. The American economy was bound to suffer a painful correction, and policymakers found themselves with fewer resources to deal with the consequences. Is this the paragragh you are referring to? I couldn't find anything about the Stimulis Package. I believe he is referring to the Bush Tax Cuts. I am with you on Hill. Its pretty sad when Sinbad is calling you out. I still don't get how misstatement can still apply after the 4th time. Its a "fish tale" if not an outright lie.

I'm sure you could give us the [name of the radio station? :P Gewcew, that's actually what most people do when they're the ones setting up the debate. They back up what they say with proof. What form of proof? Sites, books, articles, etc..

I know you need to file a tax form. My comment is I think people will think filing an extension will mean they qualify. See sentence above: You must file taxes and we all know everyone isn't going to file. The paper I have in front of me says you must earn $3000 or more to qualify.

Fishmomma you are wrong, you need to file a tax form indicating that you do not have an income or have a minimal income or untaxable income in order to get the stiumulus credit. Try getting your facts straight.

Maybe we're learning why he didn't want to talk much about issues in the beginning. He was a lot more acceptable when all we had to go on was "hope" and "change".

The media loves over-exaggerating things. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. To me, he's the same man that presented himself for presidency. Charismatic, articulate and wise.
