Cocktail party prep

I'm planning on having a cocktail party with my friends. So I'm after a couple ideas. I'm expecting approx 15 friends all about 20 years old.
What kind of food should I have?
Any specific cocktails that you recommend?
Disclaimer: I can't recall whether this site is US based or not, but I'm from Australia where the legal drinking age is 18 so don't be concerned with the age of my guests.
