If happen you offend other mylotters with their opinion, how will you face it?

I have not tried yet and Im sure members here are open-minded enough that there is a great chance that it will happen! COntradicting to one's idea is not an insult for me. We are here to discuss and learn from each other and we are free to justify our point of view as long as we dont insult by words! We also cant expect everyone to agree with us, we came from different orientation in life !

I accidentally only slightly offended two people in two different discussions but, I realized that they either misunderstood me or I didn't make my point the right way and I went back and apologized. All was well. And, there has only been one time when someone offended me. But, they did it on purpose, I said some things, they said some things back and nothing got solved. They never apologized because they were intentionally trying to get my goat. It worked but, I noticed that my rep suffered a bit for it so, I will be ignoring that kind of thing from now on. I will apologize if I offend anyone here. It is never my intention to do so. I like to disagree respectfully if I do disagree and I expect the same of others.

There is nothing anyone could do on myLot that would have the power to offend or hurt me. They are just words. They might be annoying, but that would be about the limit. I would apologize if something I said was ambiguous and a person misunderstood or if I made a typo and said someone was a "fool" when I meant to write "cool" for exmple. But I don't think that has happened, lol. If the person was doing something wrong and I replied to that effect I would certainly not apologize. If someone openly stated that their comprehension of God was more valid than mine and made an issue out of it, I would certainly delete them from my friend list, though, because I try only to have open-minded friends.

I will apologize if I think I am in the wrong but if it is just a matter of someone not liking my opinion then that is their tough luck.If I was rude then of course I will apologize but otherwise no not at all.

I would stand by what i have said. But i would also tell that i did not mean to offend any one but if anybody is offended i am sorry, but i still stand by what i have said. Ya, i agree that if you are sorry it should come from your heart.
