Wow - I agree with everything Rose said right down to the Cheerios, it really does work. I've potty trained 3 boys and helped with 2 grandsons now and following the tips above worked with all except for the oldest 2 they didn't have pull-ups in those days but the heavy 'training pants'. As long as they wore diapers though they used them for what they were ment for :(

Potty Training is always easier when there is a male involved like dad, brother, uncle. It takes longer to potty train a boy than a girl.
Depending on if you want to use a potty chair or a seat that fits over the toilet
Let him test the potty out even if he doesn't do anything for several trys
Just talk to him and tell him what you want him to do,when he does it the first time, reward him and praise him
Get the Pull-Ups,he can pull these down easy
Most don't like potty chairs, you can buy if you choose the seat that fits over the toilet.Mine always liked this best.
I know it may sound crazy to you,but it does work on little boys.Get a Cheerio and drop it in the toilet bowl, encourage him to use this as a target.Hey,it worked for me.lol Don't try to push him,but making a fun game out of it will help.
Good Luck :)
