what is latest operating system?

i think VISTA is the latest operation system but i not suggest u to install VISTA to your computer. Vista is not stabilize for right now and many of the old hardware don't have driver.

Hi! I'm too obsolete in operational system, but I belive Microsoft Windows Vista is the last one from Microsoft. The another companies I got no idea what's happening, sorry! Oh, the last non-Microsoft operational system I've used was Ubuntu Linux 7.10. Bye

Ubuntu 8.04 is out. Some people had a few problems with it, but they have mostly worked those out. I have been pretty much problem free since it went RC (that was when I installed it btw).

I believe the newest operating system for Windows is Vista. And the Mac version 10.5 "Leopard" is the newest version of the Mac OS X operating system for Apple. Hope this helps.

well if you are ohk with linux enviornment go for fedora 9 it has released 2 weeks back only... even im looking forward for it!! if you have extremely high configurations.. like 2 gb RAM then go for vista... coz it sucks up high memory!! leopard is good...!! if you had been using only windows before then only go for vista... otherwise its not good!! linux is far better!!
