I dont know if you experience this in college, but i do. I have some "bully" teachers, instead of helping you in your career development they seems to be the one that will hinder your development not only as future career invidual but as a whole... There are instances that they became personal, to the extent of giving me a failing grades...

Yeah, back in high school, I remember one in particular, he was the metalworks teacher. Now for some reason unknown to me, he didn't like me. I know my older brother had trouble with him, so whether he just assumed I was like him, I don't know. He wasn't helpful at all, and I actually did get a fail from him, which was my first ever. Thankfully I only had him for one term, but that's long enough to do some damage to your learning.

I had a tough time with one teacher when I was in high school. The teacher got to revenge me as I was not in friendly terms with her daughter who was 2 years junior to me. I make friends very easily, but cant tolerate people who are so selfish. And this particular girl was like that. She cannot talk anything other than about herself. Even at that age of 14 she was talking only about her looks, about the dresses she have got etc etc. I just got bugged up and stopped talking with her. And her mother this teacher went to the extent of ruining my entire studies itself. She made some false accusations and made my parents visit the school. My father was supportive to the core and so was my brother. This made the Principal realise the truth. Though that teacher was not given any punishment, I was not harmed after that. But she is also one reason, I started hating that particular school to the core.

yes, that is the case with some of my teachers in college as well. there was one teacher in our college , who left recently, to the relief of all the students, lol! he used to bully every student as per his whims and fancies, and used to give failing internal marks to whichever student who used to refuse to get subjugated without a reason. i guess these teachers are mentally ill, and they in psychiatric treatment. they do it to dominate and to show their power and throw their weight on helpless students, it may be that they themselves have experienced such a thing as students, and to take revenge they do it with us as well. in all probability, this is not right.

Hmm... I found some instructor really terrible for grading the students. And they gave killing questions every quiz and examination... All i can do just read and guess... But even guess... i cant still able to guess the "at least maybe correct"... But all i knew, i can pass through it all... I still respect them and always give good performance in lab...

Though they are tough, you do actually learn from their pushing. I believe its a teaching technique supposed to motivate their students to prove them wrong. By giving bad grades, I think that they intend it to push their students and give them the "drive" that they really need to study harder. However, in personal opinion, I think that this 'tactic' fails miserably, usually demotivating the students much more than it actually motivates them.

Teachers can be very mean sometimes. I dont know if maybe its jealous when their kids dont do well in school and other students do better. I also had such a teacher who can pull you down until you give up in a great career. I told my parents what was happening and the teacher was summoned and was warned. Just make sure you report that teacher to your parents and to the college authorities.
